The Testimony of Sister Conchita: The rain was commanded to stop

Testimony of sister Conchita L-L-Hing, from Clinic of Faith Ministries Amsterdam: “On Sunday, July 22, 2012, in the evening, at 10:00 pm, i was  still in church and everyone had already left, i wanted to go home but it was raining heavily that i could not get out of the door of the church. I had neither an umbrella nor a jacket with me and i live far away in Purmerend. So at 10:15 I mentioned it to Prophet Joan that i wanted to go home but the rain wont stop. So prophet Joan say to me lets pray for the rain to stop. So i looked at her in disbelief while she looked at me and smiled. Reluctantly i agreed and she prayed and asked the Lord to let the rain stop at 10:30pm and not to let it rain until i get into my house before it rains. At 10:25pm, the rain was dripping slowly down and at 10:30pm, the rain stopped completely! I held my hand outside the window and it was surprisingly completely dry at 10:30pm. I looked at prophet Joan in astonishment and told her, Prophet Joan the rain stopped. She replied smiling sister Conchita i know the rain stopped. So i left the church to my amazement it didn’t rain until I opened my door got inside my house short the door and it starts raining heavily just like prophet Joan prayed. Wow our God is a miracle working God.

The Bible tells us in the book of 1 Kings of how Elijah commanded that it should not rain for three and a half years. 1 Kings 17:1 says: “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
And after that Elijah prayed for the abundance of rain, and it came to pass.
1 Kings 18:1 says: “And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.”
1 Kings 18:41-46 says: “And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot, and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”
As Elijah who prayed for it not to rain and it rained not, and also when he prayed again and the rain poured down, so we can do all things through Christ and with God nothing shall be impossible. (Philippians 4:13, Luke 1:37)
The book of James 5:16-18 says: “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”We thank our wonderful Heavenly Father for such great testimonies as this one. Praise the Lord!
